Peacocks and Parties

Today is my friend's birthday, so I made this arrangement for her. I have known her for almost 10 years and that entire time she has had a deep rooted passion for peacocks and religious symbols. For that reason, I worked with the colors of the peacock feathers and included a cross that was made out of sticks (more to come on that later). For now, I'm off to have a little party with my friend.

I love peacocks feathers. Don't they represent resurrection or something like that? I like how you made the cross. I can't wait to hear more on this story!

Diana & Julia & Relyn - She did love it. Thank you all for your sweet comments.

Joyce - Yes, the peacock has quite a bit of symbolism behind it. One of the many many things is eternal life. My friend also has a superstition that I had not heard of before I met her. If peacock feathers come into your house, you can't take them out. It is considered bad luck.

The crosses were done for an event, but more on that coming soon.
