Special Delivery

Since summer is drawing to a close, I think it's appropriate to post about a gift that is the essence of summer. Have fresh lobster delivered right to someone's door. There are a lot of great companies to choose from....many of them green and carbon neutral. You can even become a partner and have your own trap that catches lobster all year just for you through catch a piece of Maine. Now you know that I'm all about leaving a lasting impression. Therefore, send along some lobster bibs, or napkins, or the tablecloth so that when the lobsters are gone, the memory isn't. If you are still lucky enough to be a house guest before summer ends, show up with lobster and you'll have a standing invitation.
If you want be a little shellfish, send it to your own door. (Alright, I know.....eyes are rolling everywhere, but I couldn't resist)

  1. Oh goodness - I'm not a big seafood person, but I know some friends that would love this!

  2. Jae, thanks for the warning on my blog! Casts?! I knew this was a possibility, but your daughter's experience spurred on my desire to get mine in a big bed ASAP. It's a travesty - kids should stay in cribs until they're fifteen.

And I can't even think about a fresh Maine lobster being delivered to my landlocked-door in Utah. I think I'd faint with excitement. Delicious.

  4. "...show up with lobster and you'll have a standing invitation"? Please! If anyone sends lobster to my door I'd probably just take my clothes off right there! (Yeah...and if you leave at the site it just means more lobster for me...so thanks!)

As long as it was Maine or Nova Scotia lobster...this would be THE ultimate gift to me! Okay, or a trip to Paris. But I'm not picky.

    "Shellfish"? Jae...crackin' me up!
